Write for us

Lasting Civic Review welcomes thoughtful pitches about civic heritage: the public places, customs, shared memories and rituals that shape how people experience belonging.

What we are looking for

Pitch a specific subject with a clear reader question. We welcome explainers, comparisons, histories, close readings of a custom or place, and useful guides to noticing how shared life works. Strong proposals show why the subject matters beyond one familiar example while respecting its local character.

What to include

Tell us the proposed angle, the central point, why it suits Lasting Civic Review and what sources or material would support it. Mention relevant experience or interests without assuming that personal experience alone establishes a general claim. Please send a proposal rather than an unsolicited full article.

How to send a pitch

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a working title and a short outline. A submission is not a promise of publication; we will consider whether the idea fits our scope and standards.
